Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’d like to tell you a little about myself and how I came to be here, ready to serve your family in the awe-some realms of birth and family-making.

My work as a Holistic Doula is the culmination of everything that has brought me to where I am now. The last 20 years have been a wild journey, dedicated to exploring the inner and outer landscapes of this amazing life. Deeply passionate about the intersections of the human and the wild, I have been fortunate to live and travel in many different cultures and ways of life, to learn from people who value deep connection and wonder over any claim to certainty and absolutes. My studies have extended into bodywork, energy work, meditation, herbalism, permaculture and organic farming, post-colonial literature, Orphan Wisdom, and tons and tons of holistic childbirth! My passion for Women’s Health was born out of my own journey to heal my heart and womb in my early twenties, culminating in the freebirth of my first babe in a wee mason’s cabin on Mayne Island, BC. It has been so enlivening to explore the untended areas of the female body and journey towards re-acquaintance and re-integration, both for myself and the clients I work with. I have found plants to be a beautiful ally to wholeness and healing, and love to incorporate them in my doula work for those who are interested. My deepest longing is to advocate for more families to feel at the center of their birthing experience: grounded and in charge!, and to be a faithful witness to the stunning moment where families claim one another for the first time. Please be in touch if you feel called. I would love to hear from you!
